Marian Harris took her five-year-old Leonberger, Sid, to Camp Bowie Animal Clinic in Fort Worth to be euthanased in October, the Star-Telegram reports. Ms Harris's long-time vet, Lou Tierce, allegedly told her the dog, which had been ill for several months, had a spinal defect and needed to be put down. Ms Harris says she left Sid at the clinic assuming he would be killed within 24 hours.
