Texas Issues First Medical Marijuana License To Help Treat Epilepsy

Texas has issued its first medical marijuana license to help treat epilepsy. Two more companies are expected to be awarded licenses soon.

Licenses are being issued under the Texas Compassionate Use Act, signed into law in 2015, by Gov. Greg Abbott. The companies were selected from more than 40 applicants in May, and have undergone a series of facility inspections. The companies face strict state regulations concerning customer base numbers and product formulation.

National MP: I taught Chinese spies

He taught at the PLA University of Foreign Languages in Louyang and is part of the PLA’s third department, which intercepts, collects and monitors the communications of foreign countries.

Yang said his job was to teach students to how to listen, read and write English.

"If you define those cadets or students as spies, yes, then I was teaching spies. If that is the case. I don't think [they were spies]. I just think they are collecting information through communication in China. If you define that way, then they were spies. But for us, it was just collecting information."

Save NZ’s largest study of children and their families

Dear Prime Minister Bill English

We ask that you please restore funding to the Growing Up in New Zealand research study to enable it to continue to track the health and development of all 6,800 New Zealand children in the study.
Why is this important?

The government has recently cut funding to Growing Up in New Zealand. What is this research about, who is it for, and why does it matter?

Based at the University of Auckland, Growing Up in New Zealand (GUiNZ) is the largest and most diverse longitudinal study to ever track the lives of children in Aotearoa/New Zealand. It is the only study to track them from before birth through young adulthood.

This groundbreaking study represents the lives and stories of almost 7000 children and their families, providing unique insight into what shapes children’s early development and how interventions might be targeted at the earliest opportunity to give every New Zealand child the best start in life.

China-born New Zealand MP probed by spy agency

Jian Yang, an MP for New Zealand’s ruling National party, spent more than 10 years training and teaching at elite facilities including China’s top linguistics academy for military intelligence officers, the Financial Times has learnt.

Since being elected in 2011, Mr Yang has been a major fundraiser for the National party. He has consistently pushed for closer ties with Beijing and for international policies and positions echoing those of China’s Communist party.

The fact he has served for six years in the governing party of a member country of the “five eyes” intelligence alliance raises questions about western preparedness to deal with China’s increasingly aggressive efforts to influence foreign governments and spy on them.

Drunken NZ Politics update

This election year has been totally fucked up by the craziest shit and the psychopathic cunts in the National Party have been doing themselves no favors in the last week with their dirty politics smear shit composed of lies which unfortunately for them the public saw right through about numbers and economics. Holy hell!

We had that pale egg shaped dude who looks like he would rape your daughter if he was the babysitter guy Steven Joyce come out and fart diarrhea all over the media about wrong numbers which since turned out to be a big load of runny shit from an egg shaped dude and it is going wrong.

Next we got Bill English telling everyone he would end child poverty on April fools day next year.

Following all of that the National govt today announced they are going after the poor people on drugs and benefits.

Kiss my ass and lick my balls. I can't wait to see how this shit all plays out.
